The Gizmo Dojo provides space and community for members to develop projects and grow their passion for making. We are a member-operated 501(c)(3) non-profit community space. We welcome creators, hackers, and makers of any kind.
We have several stations throughout the space including a 3D printing area, an electronics station, a textiles area, and laser cutting. We also have a wood shop and a welding area.
You can see a partial list of the tools that are available here.
The heart of The Gizmo Dojo is a central common area where members gather to socialize, collaborate on products, and learn.
We have an amazing community of friendly makers who are happy to share their skills and show off their projects.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please come by our Open House on Saturdays from 2-4 pm or our Member Meetings on Mondays from 7-9pm and a member of our team can give you a tour and walk you through the joining process. If those times don't work for you, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a time that works for you and we'd be happy to accomodate you.
If you would like to print and fill out a membership form beforehand, you can find one here.
A key part of how our members learn is by teaching and collaborating.
We offer clubs that meet regularly and provide members with a chance to hang out with other enthusiasts, learn tips & tricks, and gain all kinds of new knowledge.
We also offer classes that allow members to learn in a more direct way. Classes are taught by members and non-members who want to share their knowledge, and proceeds are split between The Gizmo Dojo and the presenter of the class. Members of The Gizmo Dojo get a discount on any classes taught by or at the space.
For a list of upcoming classes and clubs, see our meetup page.
