The Gizmo Dojo provides space and community for members to develop projects and grow their passion for making. We are a member-operated 501(c)(3) non-profit community space. We welcome creators, hackers, and makers of any kind.
We have several stations throughout the space including a 3D printing area, an electronics station, a textiles area, and laser cutting. We also have a wood shop and a welding area.
You can see a partial list of the tools that are available here.
The heart of The Gizmo Dojo is a central common area where members gather to socialize, collaborate on products, and learn.
We have an amazing community of friendly makers who are happy to share their skills and show off their projects.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we are not currently holding any physical events, including the Saturday Open Houses and Monday Maker Meetings. If you are interested in becoming a member, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can set up a time for you to tour the space either virtually or in-person, and answer any questions you may have about The Gizmo Dojo. You're also welcome to join us for our online Monday Maker Meetings, held from 7-9pm Mountain in our Google Meet room.
If you would like to print and fill out a membership form beforehand, you can find one here.
If you would like to sign up now you can subscribe using the button below. Contact us at email@example.com, and we'll set up a time for someone to meet you at the space for a quick orientation and to get you a key.
A key part of how our members learn is by teaching and collaborating.
We offer clubs that meet regularly and provide members with a chance to hang out with other enthusiasts, learn tips & tricks, and gain all kinds of new knowledge.
We also offer classes that allow members to learn in a more direct way. Classes are taught by members and non-members who want to share their knowledge, and proceeds are split between The Gizmo Dojo and the presenter of the class. Members of The Gizmo Dojo get a discount on any classes taught by or at the space.
For a list of upcoming classes and clubs, see our meetup page.
